千年の都 京都を見てきた鴨川(賀茂川)に架かる橋を表現。
左の空間の曲線は時の経過であり、
欄干のようでもある。
右の構造物は擬宝珠、親柱を抽象的に
表したもの。
下部の水面は、京都の織物・染め物をイメージし、柄のように描いた。

悠久の時の流れと、鴨川(賀茂川)の水の流れからのインスピレーション。
京都の歴史と共に 時を経て流れ続ける川を、幾層にも重ねたディープ・ブルーで表現した。
流線状の凹凸で川面を描いている。

こちらのシアター音響は、
坂本龍一さんが監修されています。
私は音響を聴き、インスピレーションを得て
今回の作品(4点1組)を制作しました。
人が森の中を歩いているような音に、
柔らかい電子音がオーバーラップしている音楽。
光りを受けた空気の温かさや川面の反射、
樹々が生きているという事、
それらを人間が感受している
森の奥へと入る内に、人と自然が一体化するような感覚を絵にしました。
映画館で配布されている
「109 CINEMAS STYLE BOOK」に
掲載されています。
パークホームズ湘南辻堂 神奈川県(2022)
マンション共用部に作品を納めました。
イメージは茅ヶ崎,辻堂の青い空と海の色、白い雲と風、太陽の光です。グリーンは陸地でもあり、
海の深さでもあります。
ナチュラルで明るい空間のアクセントになるよう
ウルトラマリンを用いた濃いブルー で絵を締めました。
龍神図
都内オフィス
龍神図を描くにあたりイメージしたのは京都のお寺の天井画の龍です。
私は以前から龍の絵を描きたいと思っておりました。 その龍は欧米の伝説に出てくるようなドラゴンではなく東洋的なものです。
京都 建仁寺の天井画の龍は度々見に行き、私以外の人がいなくなってから暫く寝転がって見ていたほど、 思い入れのある絵です。そこで得た印象が今回の龍神図に投影されています。
外からふいに飛び入り何度か旋回した状況を想像しメビウスの輪のようにうねっています。 龍はもともと、蛇が脱皮をすることから不死の存在としての意味を持ちます。 龍の体の円環でそれを表現しています。
体が落とす影で手前 奥の空間を描きました。
永平寺 親禅の宿 柏樹関 福井県(2019)
曹洞宗の大本山 永平寺の宿に作品を描き下ろしました。作品は18室全てに付けられた花の名前に因んで描きました。"和"のテイストでありながらレイアウトや筆遣いにモダンな要素を取り入れております。
永平寺には幼少期に訪れた事があります。苔生した樹林の奥にあった荘厳なお寺が記憶に焼き付いています。
The Eiheiji Shinzen Hakujukan hotel Fukui,Japan(2019)
I draw paintings for The Eiheiji Shinzen Hakujukan hotel.18 rooms have flower names. I drew flowers in each room.
Although it has a “Japanese” taste, and incorporates modern elements in layout and touch.I visited Eiheiji Temple in my childhood.The majestic temple in the back of the mossy forest remains in memory.

3点の抽象的な絵は"瀬戸内の空"をテーマに制作しました。画面左下に小さく橋を描くことで空の絵であると認識できるようになっています。宿泊者が見た岡山の空を重ねて見て頂けたらと思います。右下は"瀬戸大橋"を抽象化して描きました。夕焼けのようなピンクとグリーンの組み合わせは私の得意な色合せです。
フェアモント・ジャカルタ(2015)
ジャワ島の湿気を帯びた熱い空気、植物の強さをテーマに制作。葉の形の幾何学的な要素をグラフィカルに構成しインドネシアの首都であるジャカルタの現代性を表現。一方で力強いタッチとフリーハンドのストロークが作る有機的で生命力を感じさせる形とグリーンが、熱帯に自生する植物のエネルギーを表現している。グリーンのグラデーションで描かれた画面は鬱蒼と生い茂り連なる植物の青い匂いを想起させる。また、グリーンの明暗のコントラストはインドネシアの光の強さを現している。
Fairmont Jakarta,Indonesia(2015)
The theme of these paintings is the strength of the plants that grow in Java's moist,tropical climate.Composed in a graphical manner of geometrical elements from leaf forms,they also express the modernity of Indonesia's capital,Jakarta.At the same time,the forceful touch and freehand strokes add organic vitality.
The dark green expresses the energy with which plants grow in the tropics.
The green gradations in Green Planes evoke the green scent of the plant life that grows in such dense and luxuriant abundance.
The strong contrasts between bright and dark expresses the difference between light and shadow in Indonesia.

和食レストランのレストルームの為の作品。鴨川添いに立つホテルにちなみ河川敷に吹く風を表現した。左の絵の そよ風から右に行くにつれ少し風が強まり植物が揺れるさまを表している。

Works for the Japanese restaurant rest room.I expressed the wind blowing on the riverbed in line with the hotel standing side by side with Kamogawa.From the painting on the left to the painting on the right the wind became stronger and I drew the plants shaking.
フォーシーズンズ 北京 (2012)
チャイナドレスを着た女性達の絵はバーの為の作品。カウンター正面壁の左右に設置。
横線のみで描いた作品はレストランの個室の為の絵画。絶え間なく揺れる水面がモチーフ。
白地に茶で描いた線的な作品はメンズ、レディスそれぞれのレストルームの為の作品。重厚なインテリアに対し間を生かした軽やかな作品。風や羽根がモチーフ。
Four Seasons Beijing,China(2012)
Paintings of woman wearing a Chinese dress are for the bar.I installed it on the wall in front of the counter.
Pictures drawn only with horizontal lines are works for private rooms in the restaurant.These paintings are a motif of the constantly swaying surface of the water.
I painted the work drawn with a brown stroke on a white background for the ladies 'and mens' restrooms.These are lightly works that made use of space against heavy interior.Wind and feather are motifs.
コンラッド北京(2012)
ホテルのバーのレディス用レストルームの為の作品。これまで見た事がないレストルームにする、という要望にあわせ宝石を顕微鏡で見たようなインパクトのある絵にした。女性が使う空間なので華やかに仕上げた。

Works for the ladies' rest room in the hotel bar.In response to the request to make it a rest room that we have never seen before,I draw paintings with an impact as if I saw a jewel with a microscope.
It is a space that women use, so it gorgeously finished.

書と抽象画の要素をあわせたシリーズ作品。書道のようなブラシストロークで画面を引き締めた。色数を絞りシックかつモダンに。

Works combining elements of calligraphy and abstract painting.I made a tension in painting with a brush stroke like calligraphy.I finished modernly with fewer colors.

Drawn for an Australian cuisine restaurant.
I finished modernly using elements of Aboriginal art. In addition to the stylish composition of black and white, it expresses the power of Australia's earth by giving the base unevenness like the ground.

オーストラリア料理のレストランの為に制作。アボリジニーアートの要素を用いモダンに仕上げた。ブラック&ホワイトのスタイリッシュな構成に加え、ベースに地面のような凹凸を与えることでオーストラリアの大地の力強さを表現。
ウィンザーホテル洞爺(2008)
「洞爺湖 周辺の緑・北海道の豊かな大地」という大きな単位と「森の中の木の実・木の葉、枝」などの小さな単位を、それぞれ抽象的に表現。北海道の爽やかな空気を思わせる色彩で描いた。
The Windsor Hotel Toya,Japan(2008)
Abstractly expresses a large unit "Deep greens around Toya Lake and the rich land of Hokkaido" and a small unit "tree nut, tree leaves, branch in the forest".
I painted in color that imagines Hokkaido's fresh air.
